That is standard Yamaha Company policy (perhaps legal?!?) for all E.O.L. (this year.2022, the 2021 model, being the last year of factory production). ![]() And was told that Yamaha, although the model is now E.O.L, will indeed insure that all parts will be available to maintain/repair the model(s) for a 12 year guaranteed forward projection, after the E.O.L. I asked about warranty and parts manufacture. It was a four year run.and only any stock still within North America will be available to be purchased. So folks.(and you are most welcome to also call the Yamaha SVTC hotline number.for yourselves.) the model is INDEED End of Life designated. She put me on hold.and two minutes later, came back to the conversation to say that yes, indeed, both models have ceased production, and the model is off the current year manufacture catalog. I just got off the phone with a Customer Service Agent (on the dedicated SVTC hotline) based out of Yamaha Corp USA, and asked her to verify (for me.) if the SVTC and Eluder was STILL be produced and manufactured in Yamaha's Japan factory. I still wished myself to hear it from the 'Yamaha horses' mouth'. Although my dealer called about sourcing a white 2021 SVTC for me.(was just throwing that around with him last Saturday as I waited for my recall starter to be installed.) and after calling two other dealers that showed they had one in stock, and they both refusing to trade/sell to my dealer.and after calling Yamaha Canada Wharehouse directly to inquire, and been told they have no SVTC's now still in stock, and will not be getting any further from production in Japan.
